The building is used by Prior Park College most of the year, meaning weddings can only take place on weekends, and the surrounding parkland is owned by the National Trust. This unique venue was built in the early 1700s and is Grade 1 Listed. With a stunning view of the surrounding 28 acres of landscape gardens and the historic city, the building itself has classic columns and is made of quintessential bath stone. The garden at Prior Park also hosts one of only four Palladian Bridges left in the world, meaning you’ll have an opportunity for some truly special wedding photos. There is only one wedding hosted a weekend with a maximum of twenty a year; there will be full attention on you. Hamswell House is a twenty minute drive from central Bath. With brilliant views of the Cotswolds Area Of Outstanding Natural Beauty, this private residence makes a stunning historic venue.
